Mr. Attaty‘s main role is generating business and managing stakeholder relations in the West African market.

Mr. Attaty started his career in 2002 as a Credit Analyst at Banque de l’Habitat in Senegal. He then moved to SONAC, a Senegalese local export credit agency rising through the ranks to the Chief of Department of Surety Bond and Financial Guarantee.

He holds two Master Degrees in Banking Laws and in Economic and Financial Analysis of Projects.

Khalil LAGTARI, Director Participations, Partnerships and International projects in the Electricity Branch of the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water. Graduated from High Institute of Commerce and Administration of Enterprises (ISCAE) and holds an MBA from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées Paris. Khalil Lagtari has developed several projects in different African countries (Senegal, Mali, Guinea, the Gambia, Chad, Cap vert, Mauritanie, Niger, etc). These projects included the development of rural electrification projects, generation plants, or capacity development.

He is also Chairman of the Strategy and International Cooperation Committee of the Mediterranean Energy Observatory (OME), Administrator of the ONEE subsidiaries in Senegal and Sherpa representing ONEE in the Global Sustainable Electricity Partnership (GSEP).

Mr Sédiko DOUKA is the Commissioner in charge of Energy and Mines of ECOWAS. He has nearly 27 years of professional experience in the field of infrastructure, particularly energy. Mr DOUKA is specialised in energy, transport and ICT programs and project structuring and coordination. He has in-depth knowledge of the rules and procedures of the main development partners and donors, an international experience of 16 years of which three was at the United Nations and nine at the ECOWAS Commission at Director level.

Mr DOUKA joined ECOWAS as a Regional Adviser for Infrastructure Development. He participated in the development of several regional energy policy texts and acted as the focal point of the Program for Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA).

He was involved in setting up the following specialised ECOWAS agencies: the PPDU, ERERA and ECREEE.

Mr DOUKA worked for seven years (2002-2009) at the Headquarters of the Agency for the Safety of Air Navigation in Africa and Madagascar, (ASECNA) in Dakar, Senegal – a multinational organisation of 17 Member States and eleven years at the Nigerien Electricity Company, NIGELEC, a public company in charge of the production, transmission, distribution and marketing of electric power in Niger.

He holds a Diploma of Electromechanical Engineering from the Ecole Supérieure Interafricaine de l’Electricité (ESIE), Bingerville – Ivory Coast, a DESS in Administration and Business Management and a Master of Finance from University of Dakar (Senegal). He also holds a Certificate in “renewable and non-renewable energies” from the Universities of Rennes 1 and 2 in France.

When you buy a ticket

The following items of personal data will be collected and stored when you buy ticket(s) for an event:

– Your address

You will also be asked for your payment card details but that data is not processed or stored by WAPECC or Konect Group Ltd.

Virtual event platform

When you register, an account will be created with all the information that you entered. This account will allow you to access to the platform and the attendees’ list to network before, during and after the event.

Your data will be given to Swapcard, our partner and editor of our digital platform.

Your data will be protected and not commercialised.

You have the right to access your data, as well as editing or deleting it.

Why is this data collected?
